Thanh Phuoc hands over charity houses to poor households

BDK.VN - On May 13, 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Thanh Phuoc commune organized the handover of a charity house to the family of Ms. Lam Thi Bich Thao, in Tan An hamlet. This is a poor household, Ms. Thao and her husband live by working as daily laborers and have 2 young children. Attending the event were Vice Chairman of Thanh Phuoc Commune People's Committee Huynh Van Gui and representatives of organizations and people of Tan An hamlet.

Mrs. Thao's house has an area of ​​40 square ^meters , built with walls, cement floor, and corrugated iron roof. The cost of building the house was 75 million VND, supported by Venerable Thich Phuoc Minh (Abbot of Tan Linh Pagoda, Thanh Phuoc Commune), through an open letter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Phuoc Commune.

Implementing the policy of "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Phuoc commune and other organizations have actively mobilized benefactors and sponsors to contribute support. In the first months of 2025, the commune mobilized the construction of 13 houses. The total support value is over 680 million VND.
