Bich Tuyen makes a difference for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team

Given the importance of the match with Kazakhstan, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet fielded what is considered the best team of the current Vietnamese women's volleyball team, with players Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen, Doan Thi Lam Oanh, Nguyen Thi Trinh, Nguyen Thi Uyen, Tran Thi Bich Thuy, and Nguyen Khanh Dang.
The Kazakhstan team created many difficulties for the home team, but Bich Tuyen's explosive attacks with powerful scoring moves helped the Vietnamese team win 25/15 in game 1. At the end of game 1, the Vietnamese players made many mistakes in catching the first step. This weakness recurred in game 2, along with the opponent blocking the Vietnamese team's attacks quite well, so they unexpectedly won 25/19, equalizing the score 1-1.
Despite losing the first match of the 2025 AVC Nations Cup, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team still achieved their goal of reaching the finals.

Losing the first game of the tournament made coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's students "wake up", coming back strongly in game 3 with a "destructive" 25/7 victory over Kazakhstan. That was also the game where Bich Tuyen continued to be the "scoring machine" for the home team. The Vietnamese volleyball girls continued to maintain their good playing form in game 4, winning 25/16, thereby achieving a 3-1 victory over Kazakhstan and a ticket to the final.
The opponent of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team in the final of the AVC Nations Cup 2025 taking place at 8:00 p.m. on June 14 is the Philippines - the team that beat Taiwan 3-2 in the second semi-final.
