The 12th ASEAN Para Games will take place from June 3 to 9 in Cambodia. The athletes of the Vietnamese Paralympic delegation have made careful preparations in terms of physical strength, expertise, and tactics. According to Head of the delegation Nguyen Hong Minh, the 12th ASEAN Para Games will bring together many of the region's leading Paralympic athletes, so the level of competition is expected to be very fierce. This will be a great opportunity for the Vietnamese Paralympic athletes to demonstrate their will and determination, overcome all difficulties and obstacles from their own shortcomings to confidently rise up, affirm their desire to win, integrate, and contribute.
Athlete Le Van Cong (TTNKT weightlifting team) expressed: "ASEAN Para Games is really important for disabled athletes because it is an opportunity for us to show our talents, compete with high determination to bring home medals for our country. This regional congress also helps athletes and TTNKT forces determine their strength so that they can make appropriate adjustments in training, aiming for major arenas such as ASIAN Para Games, world championships or Paralympics".
