Keeping up with the development trend of the 4.0 industrial revolution, Agribank Son La Branch has deployed the development of convenient banking services, increased product and service promotion activities, expanded non-cash payment channels, helping customers access financial services easily, quickly, safely and effectively.

Agribank Son La Branch (Branch) focuses on promoting products and services, with the goal of expanding non-cash payment channels to all customers. Instead of having to go directly to the collection point, people can now easily pay essential bills, such as: Electricity, water, telecommunication fees, or collection fees such as tuition, hospital fees... In addition, the Branch constantly upgrades domestic payment services, salary payment services via accounts, card services, and especially expands and develops new features on the Agribank Plus application, becoming a multi-functional "pocket bank", allowing customers to not only open accounts, register for online card issuance but also perform countless convenient transactions: Pay social insurance, shop on VnShop, book bus tickets, plane tickets, train tickets, pay Vietlott SMS services and even collect international credit card debt.

Mr. Ha Dinh Mui, Deputy Director of Agribank Son La Branch, affirmed: Digital transformation is an inevitable path and an important driving force for the Branch to improve service quality and affirm its position in the market. Agribank synchronously implements strategies focusing on developing a digital banking model; developing and effectively exploiting digital data; ensuring network safety and security; developing digital human resources; promoting communication and technology cooperation; aiming to promote the development of science and technology, digital transformation and innovation in all activities.

One of the Branch's great strides in bringing convenient services closer to customers is the investment in modern technology infrastructure. The Branch is equipped with an additional Agribank Digital machine with 6 main functions: identification, biometric information registration, online account opening registration, e-Banking service registration, online loan registration; financial transactions using biometrics such as account opening, depositing money, transferring money, saving... All transactions are automated with fast processing speed and high accuracy, customers can perform banking services as at the transaction counter. The deployment of Agribank Digital machine contributes to realizing the policy of cashless payment of the Government and the State Bank, bringing banking services closer to the people.

In addition, Agribank Son La Branch continues to effectively deploy the Autobank model with the core product of CDM/CRM to reduce operating costs and reduce pressure on counter transactions. Arrange a reasonable ATM/CDM network in a number of wards and communes across the province. Up to now, the Branch has installed 11 ATMs and 6 CDMs, operating effectively. Install EDC/POS card payment acceptance devices, QR codes at supermarkets, restaurants, stores and ensure stable operation for existing devices, meeting customers' card payment needs. Deploy a mobile banking vehicle model to communes and villages, both serving transactions and combining propaganda and guiding people to use digital banking services.

Ms. Duong Thi Mai Anh, owner of Hanh Anh electronics store, said: In addition to direct payment at the counter, Agribank's QR code also helps us facilitate transactions and import goods. When customers do not carry cash, they can pay quickly via QR code with a few simple steps on their phone. Currently, the store has about 90% of customers using this service to pay, helping the store save time and making it convenient for customers to pay.

Up to now, Agribank Son La Branch is managing more than 150,881 payment deposit accounts; 6,272 accounts are opened using eKYC electronic identification; 163 "Lucky Speakers" have been installed for individual customers and 10 for corporate customers, helping to notify balance changes immediately and more transparently in transactions. 535,442 collection transactions have been carried out, with a total amount of more than 1,235 billion VND.
