Competition to welcome the congress of farmers' association at all levels in Ha Tinh

Farmers' associations at all levels in Ha Tinh are striving to compete in production, carrying out many meaningful projects and tasks to celebrate the congress and contribute to promoting socio -economic development, creating a new rural landscape and civilized urban areas…

In 2023, the Ha Tinh Provincial Farmers' Association intensified its efforts in promoting the upcoming congresses of farmers' associations at all levels for the 2023-2028 term, while also launching intensive emulation campaigns to celebrate the congresses. To date, approximately 1,000 projects and tasks have been effectively and practically implemented by the associations at all levels, with an estimated total cost of around 35 billion VND; the associations at all levels have also mobilized more than 40,000 man-days of labor from all their cadres and farmer members.

Notable activities include: coordinating support for the construction of charitable houses; building 35 concrete roads totaling approximately 13 km; launching nearly 200 economic models; supporting the construction of nearly 1,000 waste collection and treatment pits; building nearly 200 model gardens; and renovating and improving approximately 1,400 household gardens.

In Cam Xuyen, the Farmers' Association of Cam Thanh commune is building flower beds to support villages in fulfilling the criteria for model residential areas according to the new set of criteria.

Farmers in Thach Binh commune, Ha Tinh city, are working to fill in the road shoulders along the self-managed roads of their respective branches, improving traffic standards and contributing to the construction of advanced new rural areas.

Farmers in Xuan Vien commune, Nghi Xuan district, are paving concrete roads, contributing to the local efforts to build a model new rural commune.

In a practical effort to celebrate the upcoming congresses of farmers' associations at all levels, the Farmers' Association of Thach Chau commune, Loc Ha district, organized a labor activity to weed and trim the green hedges along the road managed by the Association.

The Farmers' Association of Thach Dai commune, Thach Ha district, is renovating household gardens, providing labor support for dismantling dilapidated houses, and helping disadvantaged families build new homes.

The Huong Khe Farmers' Association mobilized core farmer forces to join hands in supporting localities that have not yet achieved the new rural development goals (Dien My and Ha Linh communes) to complete the criteria.

The Farmers' Association of Ky Van commune, Ky Anh district, organized a cleanup of the roads under its self-management.

The Farmers' Association of Ky Nam commune, Ky Anh town, organized the removal of overgrown and abandoned gardens in the area, practically responding to the 30-day intensive campaign to upgrade the commune to a ward.

The Farmers' Association of Tung Anh commune, Duc Tho district, organized a labor effort to dredge a 230-meter-long irrigation canal in the Kim Cuong rice field area.

The Farmers' Association of Kim Hoa commune, Huong Son district, organized the launch of the professional farmers' association for organic orange production in Tan Hoa village.

To celebrate the successful conclusion of the grassroots and town-level farmers' association congresses, and in anticipation of the Ha Tinh Provincial Farmers' Association Congress, the Hong Linh Town Farmers' Association is supporting the development and expansion of economic models for milling, purchasing, and supplying various agricultural products in the area.
