This morning (June 5), the 10th grade exam in Ho Chi Minh City started, students started going to the exam site to check their personal information and learn about the exam regulations.

At the exam site of Suong Nguyet Anh Secondary School, District 8, Ho Chi Minh City, there were a total of 444 candidates. "Tomorrow morning, June 6, candidates must be present at the exam site before 6:45 to take the literature exam, but should arrive as early as possible, to stabilize their mentality, prepare to check if their personal documents and pens are complete. In the afternoon, students must also be present before 12:45 to be on time for the foreign language exam. Many years ago, many candidates missed the Ho Chi Minh City 10th grade exam because they were late. According to regulations, if candidates are more than 15 minutes late, after the exam time starts to be calculated, they will not be allowed to participate in that exam. Therefore, students and their parents must absolutely pay attention to their children's exam time," said teacher Nguyen Long Giao.

Teacher Giao advised candidates to eat and rest regularly this evening, go to bed early, wake up early and arrive at the exam venue on time. They must pay close attention to their afternoon naps, set an alarm or ask their parents or relatives to call them. Many students were so tired after finishing the literature exam that they slept soundly until the afternoon, missed the foreign language exam, and missed the 10th grade exam.

"Today (June 5) is very important, so that candidates who are not students of this school but students of other schools, such as Chanh Hung Secondary School and Tung Thien Vuong Secondary School who come to take the exam here can arrive in advance to know the exam location, calculate the time to see how many minutes it takes to get here from home, so that tomorrow and the day after tomorrow they can take the exam on time, not get lost, or be late for the exam," Mr. Giao shared.

However, this morning, according to Thanh Nien Online reporters, at around 9:15 a.m., a large number of students gathered at the yard of Suong Nguyet Anh Secondary School to listen to the regulations, then moved to each examination room to check their personal information. Many candidates rushed to the school gate at 9:45 a.m., or even 9:55 a.m. The supervisors continued to remind these students to pay absolute attention to the time tomorrow (June 6), and to arrive earlier to have a calm mind to take the exam.

Mr. Duong Van Dan, Head of the Department of Education and Training of District 8, Ho Chi Minh City, advised candidates: "The 10th grade entrance exam is an extremely important turning point for 9th grade students. Therefore, students need to comply with the exam regulations, review the subjects carefully, prepare their health well and complete all the content of the exam. Especially, remember to go to the exam on time, avoid oversleeping and waking up late".

Supervisors on duty for the 10th grade exam in Ho Chi Minh City must communicate politely with candidates.

One thing that the exam officials reminded the candidates this morning was to pay attention to the clothes they wear when taking the 10th grade exam. Teachers advised students to wear school uniforms, neatly tucked in, just like when going to school every day. They should not bring jackets or backpacks if not necessary because it will take more time to check in. Candidates are absolutely not allowed to bring mobile phones, carbon paper, or devices capable of transmitting and receiving signals because it will violate the exam regulations.

Students should also pay attention to their attire when taking the exam.
