In particular, focusing on performing well the tasks of collecting, classifying, and treating garbage and waste; building civilized streets to each residential group and residential area. The town also organized a campaign to restore urban order and environmental sanitation to call for the response of the majority of people. At the same time, implementing the signing with representatives of villages and residential groups on "Improving the responsibility for implementing State management of land, planning, minerals, construction, urban and environmental sanitation".

In the renovation and refurbishment of sidewalks in central areas, the town's Party Committee and government have effectively implemented the motto "The State and the People work together", creating a strong ripple effect. From the selection of construction materials to calling for people's contributions, people's opinions were consulted and listened to in the direction of "people know, people discuss, people do, people check, people benefit". In 2024, Dong Van town mobilized nearly 1 billion VND in social resources to build a welcome gate and mobilized more than 1 km of stone fences at the beginning of the town; people and businesses contributed over 1.4 billion VND to pave sidewalks on central roads.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thinh, Secretary of the Party Cell of Residential Group 1, Dong Van Town shared: Thanks to the participation of the Party Committee and the government, up to now, the streets and sidewalks in the town center have become much more spacious and clean. People are extremely excited when many sidewalks and drainage systems on the streets have been invested in, renovated and newly built to be clean and beautiful. In Residential Group 1, each family has also proactively planted flowers and ornamental plants in front of their house to create a green, clean and beautiful landscape.

Aiming at the goal of building a stable, orderly and sustainable urban development, ensuring environmental sanitation and urban aesthetics; creating a favorable living environment for residents.
Comrade Duong Ngoc Duc, Secretary of the Party Committee of Dong Van town, said: Not only is Dong Van town the political and social center of the district, it is also known as one of the famous places with the extremely attractive tourist destination of Dong Van Ancient Town. Therefore, urban renovation and beautification is a regular task of the town. In particular, in urban renovation work, the town always clearly identifies serving the interests of the people as the driving force and from the support, consensus, and joint efforts of the people, the locality has the conditions to carry out urban renovation work, build model residential areas and other activities to ensure socio-economic development. Party committees and authorities also promote the responsibility of leaders in building and organizing the implementation of urban renovation, ensuring efficiency and feasibility; arousing and spreading the aspiration for innovation and local development among cadres, civil servants and people. Up to now, thanks to the synchronous and widespread implementation, the high determination of the entire political system and the consensus of all classes of people, it has brought about high efficiency. The central town of Dong Van district is increasingly modern, bright, green, clean and beautiful.
