Lam Thao town inaugurates the Spring Festival of the Year of the Snake 2025.

On the morning of January 31st (the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year), Lam Thao town, Lam Thao district, held the opening ceremony of the Spring Festival of the Year of the Snake 2025 with many rich cultural activities.

The Spring Festival of the Year of the Snake 2025 is a beautiful traditional cultural event organized annually by Lam Thao town during the Lunar New Year. Through its activities, the festival contributes to educating people about the tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source," preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values ​​of the homeland, and simultaneously boosting the movement of "All people unite to build a cultured life" in residential areas throughout the town.

Following the opening ceremony, Lam Thao town organized a procession carrying trays of five fruits and five-colored cakes from the house of the chief priest in Tien Moi area to the Temple of the Third Goddess (also known as the Temple of the Goddess) in Tan Trung area (the main shrine) and performed the sacrificial ceremony.

The Spring Festival in Lam Thao town takes place from the 3rd to the 7th day of the first lunar month with many unique cultural and artistic activities such as offering incense at historical sites in the area; carrying the palanquins of the Queen Mother and King Father (Princess Nguyet Cu and Prince Consort Ly Van Lang) from Dong Chan communal house to the main temple (Nha Ba Temple); and festival activities associated with the traditional Xoan singing tradition to promote and introduce the local traditional culture to visitors from all over.
