The beginning To start his business, Mr. Linh spent about 50 million VND to build a tank and 4-5 million VND to buy crab seeds.

Although he did not go through any training, with his passion, Mr. Linh is eager to learn, explore, and diligently searches for information from many different sources to study.
Through the process of raising, Mr. Linh realized that field crabs are very easy to raise, just need a support for the crabs to live and grow. Field crabs' food is mainly vegetables, duckweed, corn bran... which are easy to find and do not cost much.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Linh confided: "At first, when I didn't have much experience, I also encountered many difficulties, suffered losses, and many crabs died due to releasing crabs at a density that was too high. However, after understanding the characteristics of field crabs, I reduced the number of crabs in the tank."

After 6 years, Mr. Linh's crab farming model has been increasingly expanded. Currently, he not only exports finished crabs to the market but also supplies breeding animals. The total farming area is 200m3 of tanks. cement, each tank is about 30m2 wide and 1ha pond.
According to Mr. Linh, field crabs are a species that can easily survive in both natural and artificial environments. Therefore, he does not encounter many difficulties when raising field crabs in cement tanks. To maintain the water in the cement tanks, Mr. Linh takes it from the high mountains, so the crabs he supplies to the market have almost no mortality rate, easily adapt to new environments and live healthily.
According to Mr. Linh, currently his model exports an average of 50kg of crabs to the market every day, and more than 1 ton of crabs per month. The price of crab seeds fluctuates around 150,000 VND/kg, the price of finished crabs is 120,000 VND/kg.
During the winter months, prices are higher due to the scarcity of wild crabs. Profits are about 30-40 million/month. Mr. Linh also creates jobs for 5 regular workers with a salary of 250,000 VND/day. The consumption market is widespread throughout the northern provinces, reaching Ha Tinh .
