The duration of teaching activities does not exceed half of the total duration of session 2 according to the plan of 2 sessions/day so that the school has time to organizeeducational activities for students.

+ Educational activities: Organize and implement educational activities such as experiential activities, scientific research activities, STEM-oriented education activities, career education activities; education of life values, social practice skills, etc.; enhance club activities, personal talent development activities, and local social activities.

- Mainstream teaching: Ensure full implementation of the Ministry of Education and Training's educational program, focus on innovating teaching methods, enhancing practical activities, and applying knowledge into practice.

- Tutoring: Organize tutoring for students who have not achieved in certain subjects, nurture excellent students, and ensure teaching quality. Conducted every Saturday according to schedule and free of charge.

- Arrange teachers to teach integrated subjects: Develop a scientific and effective teaching plan for integrated subjects (natural sciences, history and geography, etc.), ensuring interdisciplinary nature and program requirements.

- Experiential activities - career guidance: Organize diverse and rich experiential and career guidance activities to help students develop comprehensively and have appropriate career orientation. Experiential activities outside the classroom; or experiential activities outside the school. Local education program: Develop and implement local education programs suitable to the economic , cultural and social characteristics of the locality.

- Increase the number of reading sessions by grade level; math thinking skills training sessions; English Club and STEM Club - Natural Science according to students' needs and wishes.

In addition to the main lessons, the school can develop a plan to organize other activities such as life skills training, club activities depending on the needs and abilities of the students; the educational plan ensures a reasonable allocation between educational contents, helping students complete their learning tasks and program requirements; creating conditions for students to study elective subjects and participate in educational activities to achieve the goal of comprehensive education in primary school.

High schools carry out teaching and education contents according to the plan of 2 sessions/day in a timetable of no more than 8 periods/day and no more than 6 days/week.

After the decision to allow teaching 2 sessions/day, high schools will proactively develop detailed teaching plans for subjects based on ensuring program content, knowledge and skill standards and teaching time while ensuring the school's facilities and teachers as well as not causing "overload" for students, specifically as follows:

+ For secondary school level: Total number of teaching periods per week is from 37 - 42 periods, including teaching program, educational activities according to Decision 16/2006 of the Ministry of Education and Training and teaching content, educational activities 2 sessions/day.

+ For high school level: Total number of teaching periods per week is from 42 to 48 periods, including teaching program, educational activities according to Decision 16/2006/QD-BGDDT and teaching content, educational activities 2 sessions/day.

+ High schools carry out teaching and education contents according to the plan of 2 sessions/day in a timetable of no more than 8 periods/day and no more than 6 days/week.

The HCM City Department of Education and Training also stipulates that the collection and use of funds must ensure the principles of revenue and expenditure compensation and current financial management regulations. The school only uses funds from the 2-session/day teaching program to pay for teaching and educational activities in the school's 2-session/day plan.
