The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that from today to tomorrow, November 7, the weather from Da Nang to Dak Lak will have very heavy rain. The average rainfall is 200 - 400mm, in some places over 600mm.

From southern Quang Tri to Hue City, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong, there will be heavy to very heavy rain with common rainfall of 150 - 300mm, in some places over 450mm.

Warning of risk of rain intensity greater than 200mm/3h.

In the North, it rains in some places, and it's cold at night and early morning. In Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, it rains in some places, and it's cold at night and early morning.

The South and other regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening, with heavy rain in some places. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Regarding storm number 13 (Kalmaegi storm), the storm continues to move rapidly in the west-northwest direction at a speed of about 25km/h, towards the sea areas of Da Nang - Khanh Hoa provinces and may become stronger.

The maximum intensity of the storm at sea is forecast to be level 14 (150 - 166 km/h), gusting to level 17 and it is not impossible that it could be even stronger. The storm is forecast to maintain its intensity at level 13-14, gusting to level 17 when it enters the sea area from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak provinces.

When making landfall tonight to early tomorrow morning, November 7, the storm may cause strong winds of level 10-12 (89 - 133km/h), gusting to level 14-15 in the provinces of Quang Ngai, Gia Lai and Dak Lak.
