Cold air has affected most of the North Central region.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting predicts that on May 25, cold air will strengthen, affecting other places in the North Central region and some places in the Northwest. Inland, strong northeast winds will be level 2-3, coastal areas will be level 3.

The weather in the North and North Central regions is cool. The lowest temperature during this cold air mass in the North and North Central regions is generally from 21-24 degrees Celsius, in the mountainous areas of the North, some places are below 20 degrees Celsius.

Hanoi area is cool. The lowest temperature in this cold air mass is commonly 21-23 degrees Celsius.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warns that Ha Tinh will have moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing very heavy rain; Ha Tinh city, Cam Xuyen district, Thach Ha district, and Ky Anh district will have heavy to very heavy rain.

In addition, in the afternoon and evening of May 25, the Central Highlands and the South will have rain, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall from 20-40mm, locally over 70mm.

Thunderstorms may contain tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds.

At sea, in the Gulf of Tonkin, the northern sea area of the North East Sea, strong northeast wind level 6, gust level 7, rough sea. Waves 1.5-2.5m high.
