(Baohatinh.vn) - With nearly 1,100 candidates competing in knowledge to win 240 "tickets" to Le Van Thiem Secondary School (Ha Tinh City), the capacity assessment test is very "hot" with a ratio of 1/4.58.

According to information from the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh city, the entrance exam for grade 6 at Le Van Thiem Secondary School (Ha Tinh city) for the 2025-2026 school year will take place on May 16, 2025. The whole province has nearly 1,100 candidates from primary and inter-level schools in the city and neighboring localities registered to participate.

The whole province has nearly 1,100 5th grade students registered for the competency assessment test at Le Van Thiem Secondary School.

With the enrollment target of 240 students for 6 classes, it is predicted that the competition for "tickets" to the top quality middle school in the province among candidates will be very stressful with a ratio of 1/4.58.

Instead of 3 independent tests as before, this year, candidates will take 1 competency assessment test including 3 contents: math and logical thinking ability, reading comprehension and writing ability, English ability. The test format is a combination of multiple choice and essay, with a test time of 90 minutes.

The content of the test and assessment of capacity is within the primaryeducation program, mainly grade 5. The test ensures the requirements of cognitive levels including: recognition, understanding, and application.

Admission to the school will be based on the test results, assessing the ability of this test with a 10-point scale for each content section and bonus points for priority subjects.
