Next September, Ngo Thu Ha will be the only student out of more than 1,000 graduates of this class of Hanoi Medical University to be honored as the valedictorian of Hanoi in 2025 at the Temple of Literature, Quoc Tu Giam.
Ha graduated from Medical School with a GPA of 8.42/10, with a doctorate degree of excellence.
During her studies, Thu Ha received 8/12 academic encouragement scholarships from Hanoi Medical University, 5 corporate scholarships, and was a member of the school's study club.
It is especially rare that this female student was both valedictorian in the university entrance exam 6 years ago and valedictorian in the graduation exam.
Thu Ha is focusing on reviewing for the residency exam, which is considered a tough and very fierce exam in the medical industry.

Ngo Thu Ha, the national valedictorian of block B00 (math, chemistry, biology) in 2019, also led this year's graduating class at Hanoi Medical University, a "very rare" case.
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Ha said, for medical students, perhaps being a resident doctor is the highest dream, studying with the best people. Therefore, she was a little worried before the exam, because the amount of knowledge was too much, the pressure was great, the responsibility was higher.
“I think that is a path that every doctor, whether they want to or not, must try to overcome, so there is no other way but to try to achieve the goal,” Ha said.
Regarding her study secrets, Thu Ha said she spends a lot of time studying on her own. Of course, she doesn’t necessarily study for more than ten hours a day because in addition to spending time eating and sleeping, she also participates in study clubs.
I usually read textbooks and materials carefully. After closing the book, I close my eyes and review in my head how much knowledge I remember. I try to memorize the knowledge I learned that day, and after a while I come back to review it again.
In addition to studying at the library and at school, Thu Ha uses a number of learning applications on the Internet. She also has a group of students to study with: "The students in the group are usually of similar level, often giving opinions so it is easy for me to remember and synthesize knowledge from many sources," Ha recalls.

The most stressful time for this female student is probably her final year because of her busy school schedule, plus final exams, clinical studies, and hospital duty.
The female student said that she did not choose to study abroad or work immediately after graduation but instead took the residency exam - a rather difficult path, because that was her dream. "My family is very supportive not only because of the reputation of Hanoi Medical University but also because of her love for this profession," the female student added.
As Thu Ha’s homeroom teacher for the last 3 years, Ms. Dao Thi Ngoan commented that Thu Ha is a truly excellent student, outstanding in all aspects. She is a very rare student who both studies well in her major and has high training scores.
This female student was both the valedictorian and valedictorian, and also participated in many volunteer activities, joined the school's study club, and won scholarships to support some of the school's funds.
“I think you were born to be a medical professional, because both your body and mind are commendable. In addition to your excellent academic qualities to perfect your career, your concern for others when sharing your scholarship with some humanitarian funds brings a warm feeling to everyone,” said Ms. Ngoan.

As Dan Tri reported earlier, in the 2019 high school graduation exam, Ngo Thu Ha, a 12th grade student majoring in Mathematics at Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted - Phu Tho (old) was the valedictorian of block B00.
Ha is the second daughter. Her older sister was also a student in the specialized chemistry class at Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, Phu Tho (old).
With modesty and passion for learning, Thu Ha constantly tried and achieved many high results during high school such as: Second prize in the Hanoi Open Mathematics Competition HOMC, Silver Medal in the Exchange of Excellent Students of Specialized High Schools in the Coastal and Northern Delta regions, and 2 consecutive years of winning first prize in the provincial level for excellent students in mathematics.
With the dream of becoming a general practitioner in the future, Ha has spent a lot of time and effort studying 3 subjects: math - chemistry - biology.
