Since entering middle school, Khoa began to love Math because he was inspired a lot by his teachers and also realized that this subject is really interesting and highly logical.

“Every day, I am more and more passionate about learning Math because of the benefits it brings. Being exposed to numbers helps me train my thinking and solve problems more quickly. Math also brings me excitement and complexity, so every time I solve a difficult problem, I feel indescribable joy and pride,” Khoa confided.

Having passion, I build a suitable and effective learning method. In the daily learning process, I create my own interest in learning without forcing myself. Therefore, Khoa does not build a specific study schedule, however, having interest in learning, I can concentrate right away when studying and study for hours.

In addition, Khoa often studies in groups and teaches his friends because if he can explain to them, he will also understand the essence of the lesson, helping him improve. Khoa also often searches for good problems to solve and watches how to solve strange problems on math channels on the Internet.

Preparing for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, I am even more determined and try harder in studying and reviewing. Khoa shared: “During the exam review period, I try to maintain regular study every day. In class, I pay attention to the teachers' lectures. When studying at home, I divide my time equally between subjects, prioritizing the weak areas. In addition, I often look up exam questions from free sources. Although there are times when I am tired, I still try my best to achieve the goals I set.”

Whenever stressed, Khoa often plays volleyball with his classmates, listens to music or talks to friends to relieve stress. He also actively participates in school activities, which help him relax, practice communication skills and work in groups.

Secrets to getting high scores

With his passion and effective methods, Khoa excelled in achieving a perfect score of 10 in Mathematics in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. In addition, the remaining 2 subjects in the A00 block that he chose also had quite high scores with Physics 9.25 and Chemistry 9.25. Khoa's total score in the A00 block was 28.5 points.

Khoa said: “When I found out I got 10 points in Math, I was very happy, even though during the exam preparation and looking up the answers, I had hoped for this result.

In addition, I also got quite high scores in Physics and Chemistry, so I feel that all the effort and time spent studying over the past months has paid off. This will be the motivation for me to try harder in studying and pursuing my passion."

According to Khoa, this year's Math exam is highly differentiated, the 8-point level is not too difficult to get and there are very good questions to classify students. Khoa's secret to achieving high scores is to have a solid grasp of the fundamental theories and theorems; practice the ability to solve problems quickly and accurately by solving online questions and timing yourself like in the real exam; sleep early and eat properly before the exam day as well as keep a calm mind.

During the exam, Khoa should allocate time to do the test in the most logical way, starting with the easy questions first and calmly solving the difficult questions. When finding the answer, you should immediately fill it in on the answer sheet and fill it in accurately to avoid mistakes.

Not only did he score 28.5 points in block A00, previously in the 2025 Competency Assessment Exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University, the Faculty achieved a fairly high score of 925 points.

With that result, I chose to apply for the Data Science major at the University of Science - Ho Chi Minh City National University. Khoa confided: I chose this major because I really love subjects related to Mathematics, computers and have a special interest in data analyzed and used in life.

In my opinion, Data Science is a modern field of study with high applicability in many fields such as business, medicine , finance and artificial intelligence. I believe that this is a field with long-term development potential and is suitable for my interest in learning and exploring.

Currently, I am carefully studying the training program, practicing teamwork skills and communication skills - essential factors in the university environment. And I am also preparing myself mentally to be ready to enter the new learning environment.

The valedictorian of Mathematics with a perfect score of 10 is a worthy reward for Khoa’s efforts, passion and perseverance in studying. This is also the luggage and motivation for Khoa to continue entering a new door with new goals./.
