Thu Minh, Pham Quynh Anh, Minh Hang and Dong Nhi moved listeners with songs about mothers. The harmony of the songs with the artist's experience and the inspiring story behind the Minh and Ping Journey project made the artists devote all their heart to this album.

In the special music project launched on International Women's Day, March 8, Thu Minh brought the song "Mother , do n't be angry with me " ; Pham Quynh Anh, Minh Hang and Dong Nhi harmonized in the song "Mother , do n't be angry with me " . Both are sincere confessions of a daughter towards her parents, but the two songs have two different colors.
Opening with the girl's farewell words when leaving her familiar home to join the big world, Mom , do n't be angry with me is tinged with sadness but not sorrow. The song's title is the whisper that constantly resonates in the chorus, the daughter's message to her mother to reassure her. And even though her feet are tired in the hustle and bustle of the world and her heart is filled with homesickness, she tells herself to walk strongly because: "Why do I just want to go home now! But Mom, I know I have to let the world see that your daughter is not weak at all".
Although she is a picky person when it comes to music, Thu Minh agreed to participate in the EP as soon as she heard the demo " Mother , do n't be angry with your child " by musician Phuc Bo. Because after hearing it for the first time, she was moved to tears.
Like their senior Thu Minh, the trio Pham Quynh Anh - Minh Hang - Dong Nhi have a perfect combination with Me c xo con di i . The song has a gentle melody and simple lyrics, suitable for the voices of these three mothers. They bring their love for their mothers and their thoughts about becoming mothers into each verse.

The two songs "Mother , don't be angry with me " and " Mother , do n't be angry with me" extend the project "Hanh Trinh Minh & Ping" - a spring trip across Vietnam of a lecturer in his 80s and his daughter that took place at the beginning of the year. The story in each song is closely linked to the mother-daughter relationship of the two main characters on the trip. The romantic melody of "Mother , do n't be angry with me " is even more connected to the story of "Hanh Trinh Minh & Ping" . The song evokes long roads, bringing a feeling of relaxation and chill in the moments of walking and singing on the trips .
In 40 days, Ms. Quynh Chau drove her mother, lecturer Vu Thuy Minh, and her pet cat named Ping over 5,000km, seeing beautiful landscapes along the length of the country. Departing from Ho Chi Minh City, they followed the mountain roads, returning to celebrate Tet with their family in Hanoi; visiting the Northwest and then returning to the South along the most beautiful coastlines in Vietnam.

Ms. Quynh Chau shared that her mother was her good companion in many previous domestic and international trips. After 10 years of planning, she made the Minh and Ping Journey , marking a unique memory with a memorable "backpacking" trip with her mother. During the days of wandering on the road, there were times when she worried because her mother had sore feet and poor health. But such things were just small obstacles, not enough to stop the mother, her child and their pet cat from enjoying peaceful and interesting days together.
The quartet of singers said they were inspired by this journey, so they did not hesitate when invited to contribute their voices to the EP. The female singers and the production team hope that this will be a March 8th gift for their mothers as well as all mothers in the world. Following this EP, Hanh Trinh Minh and Ping will release an album of 8 songs performed by Gen Z singers, in early summer.
