In 2025, the budget revenue estimate for Cao Loc district is 499.6 billion VND, the highest among the districts and cities. If excluding fee 01 (fee for using infrastructure works and services in border gate areas) and lottery, the domestic revenue estimate for the district is 119.6 billion VND and Cao Loc is one of the three districts and cities with the highest domestic revenue estimate in the province.

The assigned budget estimate is high, so in order to complete the budget collection task in 2025, right from the beginning of the year, Cao Loc District People's Committee has deployed many synchronous solutions to improve the efficiency of budget collection. Mr. Hoang Manh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, Head of the State Budget Collection Steering Committee of Cao Loc District, said: The District People's Committee and the State Budget Collection Steering Committee of the district have directed relevant agencies and units to closely coordinate with the tax authorities in reviewing and effectively exploiting revenue sources. In particular, in January 2025, the District People's Committee issued a directive on the State budget collection in 2025 in the district.

With the close direction of the District People's Committee, relevant agencies quickly started to deploy specific tasks to successfully carry out the budget collection task in 2025. Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Captain of the Inter-District Tax Team in Region V (in charge of Lang Son city and Cao Loc district) - Tax Department in Region VI said: In order to effectively carry out the budget collection work, from the beginning of 2025, the unit has organized a summary and evaluation of the budget collection results in 2024, at the same time analyzed the shortcomings and limitations in the collection work, thereby proposing solutions to overcome difficulties and improve the efficiency of the collection work in 2025. Along with that, the unit has proactively developed a detailed plan to carry out the collection work; assigned specific tasks to each department of the tax team, tax officials; organized analysis, evaluation, and review of the exploitation of remaining revenue sources...

Typically, revenue from the non-state sector. In 2025, the non-state revenue estimate in the district was assigned more than 34.5 billion VND. To effectively exploit this revenue source, from the end of 2024 and the first month of 2025, the unit has promoted propaganda and urged taxpayers in many forms; coordinated with relevant agencies to review and grasp the operating situation of enterprises and business households in the area to promptly put them into tax management; strengthened tax debt management, prevented budget losses... With synchronously implemented solutions, it has contributed to improving the efficiency of revenue collection from this sector. In the first quarter of 2025, revenue from the non-state sector in the district is estimated at 16.5 billion VND, reaching nearly 48% of the estimate and increasing about 30% over the same period in 2024.

In parallel with focusing on collecting from the non-state sector, from the beginning of 2025 up to now, the tax authority has continued to perform well the tax management work according to its functions such as diversifying forms of propaganda, supporting taxpayers; supporting declarations, strengthening tax inspections in accordance with regulations; reviewing, classifying tax debts and having appropriate measures to enforce tax debts. Along with that, the tax authority continues to coordinate with specialized departments and offices of the district, People's Committees of communes and towns in Cao Loc district to strengthen the review and exploitation of revenue sources, strengthen the work of preventing revenue loss... As a result, in the first quarter of 2025, although it coincided with the Lunar New Year holiday of At Ty 2025 (directly affecting the collection of fee 01), the budget collection results in Cao Loc district still achieved positive results. Specifically, the total domestic revenue in the first 3 months of 2025 in the district is estimated at nearly 128 billion VND, reaching 26% of the provincial estimate, an increase of 14.37% over the same period in 2024. Thereby, Cao Loc district is one of the 3 districts with the highest revenue in the province.

Currently, the tax authority and related agencies in Cao Loc district continue to synchronously and drastically deploy solutions to further improve the effectiveness of budget collection in the coming time. Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Head of the Inter-district Tax Team in Region V said: In the coming time, on the one hand, the unit will continue to perform well the tax management function according to its functions. On the other hand, it will strengthen coordination with related agencies in reviewing and exploiting additional revenue sources as well as preventing revenue loss. From there, we strive to soon complete the assigned budget revenue estimate for 2025 to contribute to the successful implementation of the general socio -economic development goals and tasks in the area.
