Collecting DNA samples to verify the identities of 42 martyrs with unknown information - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

The working group took DNA samples from relatives of martyrs.

According to the screening results, in this phase, the whole province has 42 cases that are prioritized for DNA sampling, including biological mothers of martyrs, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, elderly relatives of martyrs, and those with poor health who cannot move on their own.

To effectively collect samples, the provincial police established two working groups to visit the homes of families in the districts of Bao Lam, Nguyen Binh, Ha Quang, Quang Hoa, Thach An, Trung Khanh, Hoa An and Thanh Pho. In one day of urgent work, despite having to travel through many different areas, the working groups completed the collection of 42 DNA samples from relatives of martyrs.

On this occasion, the working group presented each martyr's relative with a gift worth 500,000 VND, expressing the deep gratitude of the officers and soldiers of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order Police for the great sacrifices of the martyrs and their families.
