- According to data from the Customs Branch of Region VI, from the beginning of 2025 to now, the total tax revenue from import and export activities of goods through border gates in Lang Son province is more than 3,549 billion VND, an increase of 42% over the same period in 2024.
Revenue increased due to the high increase in taxable export and import turnover. The main imported goods are: manufacturing machinery, trucks and auto parts, electronic components, mobile phones, iron and steel products, wood, etc.
At the same time, the number of enterprises in the first 5 months of 2025 completing declaration procedures at customs agencies in Lang Son province also increased by more than 1,000 enterprises (in 5 months, there were 3,526 enterprises completing procedures), which is also an important factor for the total tax revenue from import-export activities through Lang Son province to increase.
In 2025, the estimated budget assigned by the Customs Department to the Customs Branch of Region VI to collect budget revenue in Lang Son is 6,450 billion VND. To complete the task of collecting import and export taxes, in the coming time, the Customs Branch of Region VI will continue to synchronously and drastically implement solutions. In particular, it will continue to closely coordinate with agencies and units of Lang Son province to monitor and grasp the situation and policies of the Chinese side to implement solutions, create favorable conditions for import and export activities, improve the effectiveness of state management, and prevent state budget losses in 2025.
