Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh works at Con Dao Airport

On the morning of May 3, during a working trip to Con Dao, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his delegation had a working session at Con Dao Airport.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh listened to the report on the planned planning of Con Dao Airport for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

Also attending the meeting were Mr. Pham Viet Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh listened to the leaders of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province and related units report on the actual operation situation, the planned planning of Con Dao Airport for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, and the Co Ong urban area project.

At the same time, the Prime Minister inspected the field at Con Dao airport area.

According to the Master Plan for the development of the national airport system for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, Con Dao Airport is planned for the period up to 2030 with a capacity of about 2 million passengers/year, and a vision to 2050 with a capacity of about 3 million passengers/year.
