Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife invited Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and his wife to visit the book street in Hanoi on the morning of July 21. This is part of the activities during Mr. Anwar Ibrahim's two-day official visit to Vietnam.
The Malaysian Prime Minister arrived in Hanoi on July 20, marking his first official visit to Vietnam since taking office in December 2022.

Book Street is a street near Hoan Kiem Lake, connecting Ly Thuong Kiet and Hai Ba Trung streets in Hoan Kiem district, where hundreds of thousands of books on many different fields are sold and displayed.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented the Malaysian Prime Minister with the book Some theoretical and practical issues on socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, along with the work Prison Diary by President Ho Chi Minh and the book World People's Feelings for President Ho Chi Minh .

During yesterday's talks , the two Prime Ministers discussed measures to enhance bilateral cooperation, agreeing to strive to increase bilateral trade turnover from nearly 15 billion USD to 18 billion USD by 2025.
