Overview of the training conference

The program aims to improve the capacity of technology application for legal staff, promoting the digital transformation process of the prosecution industry in a practical and effective manner.

In his opening speech, Chief Justice of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Procuracy Le Van Dong emphasized that the training not only updated knowledge of new technology but also helped officials master the skills of exploiting the Virtual Assistant Software developed by the Supreme People's Procuracy. This is an AI application tool that helps look up documents, process information, and contribute to improving professional efficiency.

“We expect each officer to become a core in applying technology, complying with information security regulations and turning knowledge into concrete actions and practical initiatives,” said Mr. Dong. At the same time, he suggested that the entire industry should seriously evaluate the effectiveness of the software being used, increase the digitization of records and tighten public service discipline in the digital environment.

According to a report by the American Bar Association, the rate of law firms applying AI increased sharply from 11% in 2023 to 30% in 2024, especially at large firms. Tools such as Casetext, LegalZoom or Premonition have helped shorten the time to search, draft contracts, predict the outcome of cases and analyze comprehensive records.

AI is currently deployed in many professional activities of the prosecution industry such as document search, file analysis, and decision support. Practical models show that integrating digital technology not only improves work efficiency but also aims to standardize processes, increase transparency and accuracy in law enforcement.
