At Tran Hung Dao Secondary School, the delegation found that the school had developed a school health care plan for the school year; established a Student Health Care Committee, a Steering Committee for building a safe school, and preventing accidents and injuries in schools. The school provided enough water for students, arranged covered trash cans, and classified waste at source.

The school also has its own medical room with essential medicines and adequate equipment. 100% of students participate in health insurance. At the beginning of the school year, the school cooperates with Trung Dung Ward Health Station to organize health check-ups for students.

In particular, the restroom areas of Tran Hung Dao Secondary School are decorated with green trees, have soft music, are always cleaned, and have no bad smell, helping teachers and students feel comfortable when using the restroom.

At Le Quang Dinh Secondary School, the results of the health check-up at the beginning of the school year conducted by the school in collaboration with the Tan Hiep Ward Health Station showed that about 7.5% of students were malnourished, but up to 26.6% of students were overweight or obese. Among the diseases that the students suffered from, up to 42% of students had eye diseases, and nearly 8% of students had dental diseases.

Through on-site supervision, the monitoring team has guided and supported schools to implement school health work more correctly and effectively to ensure students' health.
