( Bqp.vn ) - On the morning of September 5, the Ministry of National Defense's inspection delegation led by Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for Administrative Reform and Digital Transformation of the Ministry of National Defense, inspected the digital transformation work and information technology (IT) training at the Air Defense - Air Force Academy (PK-KQ).
Attending the inspection were Major General Pham Van Tinh, Deputy Commander of the Air Defense - Air Force Service; Major General Ha Xuan Truong, Director of the Air Defense - Air Force Academy; representatives of the Ministry of National Defense's functional agencies; members of the Board of Directors and leaders of a number of departments, faculties and divisions under the Air Defense - Air Force Academy.

After listening to the report of the Air Defense - Air Force Academy, the report on the results of in-depth inspections of the agencies and functional units of the Ministry of National Defense, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh praised the outstanding results in digital transformation and IT training achieved by the Air Defense - Air Force Academy in the past time. Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh requested the Air Defense - Air Force Academy to continue to pay more attention to digital transformation and IT training; considering this one of the key political tasks, meeting the requirements of education and training. Review and fully and promptly implement assigned digital transformation development tasks; promote the use of digital signatures; organize and deploy personal digital signatures; increase the rate of computers connected to the military computer network and apply shared software of the Ministry of National Defense. Organize to consolidate and synchronously deploy solutions to ensure information security and network security at the unit. Focus on promoting the application of IT and digital transformation in training and testing; focusing on digitizing and building a database of textbooks, lectures, documents, and scientific research results.

Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh noted that the Air Defense - Air Force Academy needs to build and deploy digital platforms so that students can exploit and access electronic documents; pay attention to investing in upgrading the computer room system and computer quality for teaching, learning and research. Promote adjustments and supplements to IT training programs and digital transformation suitable for each type of student; update and supplement digital transformation training content in line with digital transformation work in the Ministry of National Defense; develop new and upgrade existing software and simulation systems suitable for the current high-tech combat model, effectively servingeducation - training, scientific research, etc.

With some contents through actual inspection, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh assigned the functional agencies of the Ministry of National Defense to coordinate in assessing the general situation of computers and computer networks at military academies and schools. Provide guidance on building an e-Government Architecture Framework; synthesize, update and guide, disseminate to academies and schools to exploit and use some popular applications and platforms as well as some platforms serving digital transformation in education - training and scientific research.

In the past time, the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the Air Defense - Air Force Academy have paid attention to leading and directing the affiliated agencies and units to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the above-mentioned directives and instructions on digital transformation and IT training; specify the contents, targets and tasks of digital transformation in accordance with the characteristics of the situation and tasks of the School and organize their implementation seriously; contributing to improving the effectiveness of management, direction and operation in performing assigned tasks. The training program is built in accordance with the training program standards; at the same time, proactively introducing some advanced IT contents according to the specific requirements of some majors.
In addition, the Academy has proactively built and deployed many software systems, simulation systems, invested in many training simulation classrooms, simulated weapons, equipment, and specialized equipment close to reality, so that after graduation, students can quickly acquire, exploit, and use weapons and equipment. Currently, the Academy has invested in and exploited a specialized training simulation system for subjects (30 training simulation classrooms, simulated weapons, specialized equipment, and 04 specialized classrooms), meeting the basic requirements of the curriculum. The military computer network has been deployed to 100% of affiliated units; connecting computers to the military computer network serves the digital transformation in the management, command, and operation activities of the Academy.
