According to the report, the Cho Moi - Bac Kan Expressway sub-project has a total recovered area of about 255.14 hectares with 1,329 affected households. Of which, Bac Kan city has 345 households, Cho Moi district has 984 households. The total cost of compensation and support for land acquisition is estimated at nearly 548.4 billion VND.
In Bac Kan City, the total approved amount is over VND89 billion for 394 households. The total amount paid is over VND80 billion for 352 households. The amount not yet paid is over VND9 billion for 42 households. It is expected that in June, the 6th and 7th phases will continue to be approved with a total value of about VND92 billion. However, only 38.3 ha/55.2 ha of land (equivalent to about 2.1 km of the route) has been handed over.
In Cho Moi district, 474 households have been approved for compensation with a total amount of nearly 90 billion VND. In June, it is expected that 3 more batches will be approved with a total amount of more than 123 billion VND. It is expected that in June, about 80 hectares of land at key bridge and intersection locations will be handed over.
Faced with the slow progress of site clearance and site clearance that has not been achieved according to the plan and direction from the conclusion of the previous meeting of the Steering Committee for key transport projects, Comrade Hoang Duy Chinh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, criticized the departments, branches, and localities and at the same time requested Cho Moi district and Bac Kan city to report daily progress on the zalo group of the Steering Committee, and develop a specific schedule on the morning of June 4.
Cho Moi District People's Committee must immediately propose the number of staff needed to increase human resources for the province to arrange. The Provincial People's Committee must resolve documents submitted by departments and branches within 01 day to be able to immediately issue policies and mechanisms to remove difficulties. Focus on completing previously delayed tasks.
“We must be proactive and not shirk responsibility. Whatever is beneficial to the people and to the progress must be proposed in writing immediately to serve as a basis for implementation,” the Secretary emphasized. He also requested that authorities at all levels conduct extensive propaganda. If consensus is not reached, a plan must be developed to enforce and protect the construction to keep up with the progress of the entire route./.
