Request for settlement of completed projects before June 25

BBK- On the afternoon of June 4, the People's Committee of Bac Kan province held a meeting to assess the situation of public investment capital settlement, debt collection after settlement and handling of advance capital for completed works and projects in the province. According to the report of the Department of Finance, in the first 5 months of 2025, the whole province approved the settlement of 333 projects, with a total value after verification of 1,275 billion VND, saving the budget more than 4.4 billion VND. However, there are still 257 projects that have not been approved for settlement, of which 107 projects have not submitted their documents. Some projects are facing difficulties due to incomplete site clearance documents, ununified settlement data, and problems and debts from many years ago.

The Provincial People's Committee requested investors to urgently complete the final settlement report before June 10, and financial agencies to complete the examination and approval of the final settlement before June 25. Any delay will be transferred to the inspection agency for consideration and handling.

In addition, the provincial leaders also emphasized the work of debt collection after settlement and recovery of advanced capital. The province requested to thoroughly handle outstanding debts, determine the responsibilities of related individuals and organizations, and prevent loss of state budget./.
