Tien Linh leads charity football event in Ho Chi Minh City

Thong Nhat Stadium will welcome the charity friendly match "Spreading love 2025" initiated by Tien Linh, gathering many artists and players to raise funds to support the community.

On December 6, 2025, Thong Nhat Stadium (HCMC) will be the venue for the friendly football match "Spreading Love 2025", a charity event organized by the HCMC Police Club in collaboration with the PC04 Department and the Volunteer Club for City Security and Peace (PAST). The program originated from the idea of ​​national player Nguyen Tien Linh, aiming to spread the spirit of humanity through sports .

The event's goal is to call for resources to support the people of the Central region who have just suffered damage due to natural disasters. All contributions will be transferred through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Ho Chi Minh City. The program gathered nearly 70 artists, coaches and national players, including former head coach Park Hang-seo. The fundraising auction continued to be the highlight, with jersey number 22 signed by the entire Vietnam team - the shirt Tien Linh wore when winning the AFF Cup 2024 - and a ball signed by the players.

“Spreading Love 2025” is the second time the event has been held. In 2024, the program at Go Dau Stadium ( Binh Duong ) attracted more than 60 members including players, coaches and artists, bringing in 9.5 billion VND to give to the Binh Duong Red Cross Society to carry out charity activities. That success is the foundation for Tien Linh to continue expanding the scale and meaning of this year's program.

Not only is he the 2024 Vietnam Golden Ball and a pillar on the field, Nguyen Tien Linh is also known for his many community contributions. He works with UNICEF Vietnam, supporting heart surgeries for children in difficult circumstances, taking care of lonely elderly people, being a Youth Month Ambassador and creating conditions for young football talents.

“Linh is grateful that football can help connect and sow more love. I hope the event continues to touch many hearts and bring practical things to people,” Tien Linh shared.

The organizers distributed free tickets at Thong Nhat Stadium on November 29 and 30, hoping the event would inspire good living and a spirit of sharing in the community.
