Industrial production activities maintain growth trend

(CT) - According to Can Tho City Statistics, industrial production activities in the city in November 2025 maintained a positive growth trend. Accordingly, the industrial production index is estimated to increase by 3.96% over the previous month and increase by 18.11% over the same period in 2024. Of which, the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 2.09% over the previous month and increased by 21.63% over the same period last year; electricity production and distribution increased by 58.18% over the previous month and decreased by 22% over the same period last year; water supply, waste and wastewater management and treatment activities increased by 1.29% over the previous month and increased by 3.53% over the same period in 2024.

Some key industrial products in November 2025 increased sharply compared to the same period in 2024 such as all kinds of clothing increased by 57.53%; frozen fillets increased by 45.36%; ski suits increased by 39.73%; filtered cigarettes increased by 31.51%; frozen shrimp increased by 30.43%; semi-milled or fully milled rice, whether or not polished or starched increased by 29.64%... Besides, some products decreased compared to the same period in 2024 such as soft drinks (CocaCola, 7 up...) decreased by 18.89%; wind power decreased by 21.78%; electricity production decreased by 28.94%; biofertilizer decreased by 60.09%...

In the first 11 months of 2025, the industrial production index of the whole industry increased by 10.07% over the same period in 2024.
