Receiving units under SOS Vietnam to Thanh Hoa province for management

Accordingly, based on the content of the proposal of the Ministry of Health in Official Dispatch No. 2623/BYT-TCCB dated April 29, 2025 on giving opinions on receiving units under SOS Vietnam for provincial management; on the basis of the report and proposal of the Department of Home Affairs in Official Dispatch No. 1832/SNV-TCCB dated May 9, 2025, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province has received the Hermann Gmeiner Thanh Hoa Primary School (under the SOS Vietnam Village system) in its original state for Thanh Hoa province to manage; at the same time, supporting the school's operating costs from July 1, 2024.

Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee agreed to receive all facilities, finances, staff, teachers, mothers, aunts, workers, and all SOS children and youth being cared for, nurtured,and educated at Thanh Hoa SOS Children's Village and SOS Kindergarten under Thanh Hoa SOS Children's Village under the province's management.

After receiving, based on current legal regulations and the actual situation of the locality, the Provincial People's Committee will have a policy to support and direct comprehensive management of SOS Children's Village Thanh Hoa with the aim of ensuring that SOS Children's Village Thanh Hoa operates in accordance with Vietnamese law.

Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also requested the Ministry of Health to pay attention, guide and facilitate the completion of documents and legal procedures related to the handover and reception of the Thanh Hoa Children's SOS Village under the SOS Villages Vietnam system to the province for management; at the same time, issue or submit to competent authorities to issue regulations related to the management, position, functions, tasks, organizational model and operation of the SOS Villages after the provinces receive them for unified deployment and implementation nationwide.
