On the morning of August 1, a representative of the Khanh Hoa Land Fund Development Center confirmed that the unit had received the above-mentioned land plot on site and received the handover of documents related to land use rights from the enterprise. The land plot is currently under state management, but there is no specific plan for exploitation and use.

Previously, at the end of May 2025, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1413/QD-UBND on the revocation of more than 6,200m2 of land used by Sovico Khanh Hoa Company Limited. The reason for the revocation was that the enterprise voluntarily returned the land.
According to records, in 2014, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee leased more than 28,000 square meters of coastal land to Sovico Khanh Hoa Company Limited to invest in Ana Mandara Resort. The land, stretching hundreds of meters along the coast along Tran Phu Street, was fenced.
By 2024, Khanh Hoa province will reclaim about 20,000m² of land to build a park to serve the community. Now, with the continued return of more than 6,200m², businesses only use about 1,800m² of coastal land for business.

Khanh Hoa province’s recent policy is to renovate the entire coastline along Tran Phu Street, overcoming the situation of public space being occupied. Some projects and structures that once fenced the coastline have been forced to be dismantled to return the land and access to the sea to residents and tourists.
