The Propaganda and Culture Subcommittee deploys tasks to serve APEC Year 2027

On the afternoon of October 31, the People's Committee of An Giang province held a meeting of the Propaganda and Culture Subcommittee under the Provincial Steering Committee to prepare for the organization of conferences and activities of APEC Year 2027 in Phu Quoc Special Zone to approve the Implementation Plan. The meeting was chaired by Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province Le Van Phuoc.

According to the draft plan, the Propaganda and Culture Subcommittee will organize propaganda activities about the APEC 2027 Forum in An Giang province. In particular, it will widely propagate to all Vietnamese people about the APEC 2027 Forum held in Phu Quoc special zone, An Giang province - an important event in 2027 for the country in general and An Giang province in particular.

The province promotes foreign communication, protects official information and the national image; promotes the image of Vietnam as a peaceful , cooperative and developed country; affirms an open, stable and attractive investment environment. The province organizes propaganda for foreign activities of Party, State and local leaders; strengthens relations with international partners and friends.

Actively refute false and distorted information; at the same time, inform about international trade and investment trends to support Vietnamese enterprises in protecting their legitimate rights and interests. To effectively carry out propaganda work, departments and branches will coordinate to build, manage and operate the press center; propagate on mass media and digital platforms; develop publications, reports and clips to promote APEC 2027; organize visual propaganda for activities taking place before, during and after the APEC 2027 Summit Week in key areas of the province...

Through the discussion of delegates attending the meeting, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Van Phuoc requested departments, branches, localities, and Phu Quoc special zone to register a list of leaders participating in the Propaganda and Culture Subcommittee.

Regarding the draft plan, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee agreed to change the name to a sub-project and requested each department, branch and Phu Quoc special zone to re-examine the content, tasks, time and budget of each activity in charge. On that basis, send contributions to the Department of Culture and Sports to complete the sub-project closely in the spirit of 6 clear: Clear people, clear work, clear time, clear responsibility, clear products, clear authority.
