Due to the large amount of work, especially traveling long distances, and inconvenient traffic in many areas, the Party Committee and command of Battalion 25 have implemented many measures to raise awareness and responsibility of officers, employees, and soldiers so that each trip is always absolutely safe, transporting goods and materials on time and fully for the missions.

It was almost noon and the sun was blazing hot, but at the technical area of the 25th Transport Battalion, the unit's officers and employees were still enthusiastically performing their duties of preserving and maintaining the vehicle's engine, cleaning the fuel and oil storage area, and the fire protection system. Despite the harsh weather and the approaching break time, the transport soldiers were still meticulously cleaning and preserving every detail and equipment on their beloved vehicle, from bolts and screws to tires, electrical systems, engines, chassis, platforms, and cabins.
Senior Lieutenant Duong Van Xo, Driver, Squad 1, Platoon 1, Company 1, Transport Battalion 25 said: “We are always aware that in order for a vehicle to be good and durable, the user must regularly check, clean, and maintain it to promptly detect damage for repair and replacement. 30 minutes before departure, I usually start the engine and check it again. Because with an old vehicle, yesterday's inspection was fine but today there is a problem right away. After finishing the journey, bringing the vehicle back to the unit, we re-check the technical condition, repair, and replace damaged equipment so that the vehicle is ready to perform tasks at any time. This is not only a prescribed working regime but also a habit and responsibility of each driver.”

For the transportation industry, safety assurance is always given top priority. The Party Committee and the command of Battalion 25 lead and disseminate to all cadres and employees, considering safety assurance as a key task that must always be focused on, led, directed, and closely organized and implemented, in conjunction with the implementation of the 50 Campaign.
Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Minh Hoan, Captain of Company 1, said: “Our unit operates many types of old vehicles, often operating on complex routes, with steep passes, highways, rough and bumpy roads. Therefore, before each transportation mission, we develop a specific and meticulous plan, clearly defining the responsibilities of each department and individual in ensuring the safety of goods and vehicles. The unit conducts surveys, grasps the traffic situation, determines routes and reasonable rest stops for the formation, closely coordinates the delivery and receipt of goods, and ensures scientific meals and rest to maintain the health of the troops; strictly regulates the distance between vehicles, steering wheel changes, stops and parking points”.

To ensure the safety of each trip, the driver always plays a decisive role. Commanders at all levels of the 25th Transport Battalion pay attention to selecting drivers suitable for each task; for important tasks such as transporting people, weapons, ammunition, or performing tasks in difficult, complicated, and long-term conditions, priority is given to vehicles with good technical coefficients, assigned to drivers with a lot of experience.
To improve the capacity and qualifications of the driver team, every year, Transport Battalion 25 organizes training for soldiers on how to arrange and unload goods; raise awareness and skills for officers, employees and soldiers on fire prevention and fighting in transportation, combined with training in professional qualifications in repair, maintenance and experience in handling situations to ensure traffic safety...
In order to impart experience to the driving team, when assigning tasks, commanders at all levels at Transport Battalion 25 always arrange for experienced drivers to accompany newly graduated and young drivers to foster practical knowledge, improve their bravery and responsibility, and build a team of successors.
Captain Nguyen Quang Thuy, Deputy Battalion Commander of Transport Battalion 25, said: "The unit focuses on innovatingeducational content and methods, grasping the technical condition of each vehicle; strengthening management and inspection of troops during training and when performing special tasks with units on small-scale material transport missions."
Thanks to the synchronous implementation of solutions, from the beginning of 2025 until now, the quality of vehicles of Transport Battalion 25 participating in transportation has always ensured good technical coefficients. During the performance of tasks, drivers always do a good job of preparing vehicles before, during and after each business trip and strictly comply with road traffic laws to ensure absolute safety for people, vehicles and goods.
