On May 27, information from the People's Committee of Ha Long City ( Quang Ninh ) said that this locality has just issued a document requesting relevant agencies to inspect and strictly handle those who posted false information about the hotel built in the middle of Ha Long Bay.
False image advertised as hotel in Ha Long
Specifically, a few days ago, on the social network Facebook, promotional images of a hotel called Fantasy Ha Long Bay were spread. Not only that, an account also posted information about selling room and travel vouchers here.
However, through inspection by the authorities, up to now in Ha Long City there is no hotel named Fantasy Ha Long Bay. Posting false images affects the tourism business environment.
Faced with the above situation, the People's Committee of Ha Long City has intervened and requested the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Ninh and the police to verify the person who posted the above false information and take measures to handle it according to the provisions of law.
In addition, the People's Committee of Ha Long City also requested the Department of Information and Communications of Quang Ninh to coordinate in orienting information on social networks related to the above incident; direct specialized inspectors to check and strictly handle those who post false information, affecting the tourism business environment of Ha Long City and the image of Ha Long Bay.
Along with that, the People's Committee of Ha Long City also requested the Department of Tourism of Quang Ninh to request travel service businesses not to use untrue images of tourism products for the purpose of "like-baiting", "view-baiting", selling hotel rooms and travel vouchers.
