On May 25, the Management Board of Sam Mountain National Tourist Area (Chau Doc City, An Giang Province) announced that there will be no fee collection during the 2024 Sam Mountain Lady Festival. This policy has been approved by the An Giang Provincial People's Committee.

According to the announcement, to celebrate the organization of the Via Ba Chua Xu Nui Sam Festival in 2024 and the 10th anniversary of the Via Ba Chua Xu Nui Sam Festival being included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage (2014-2024), contributing practically to the promotion and attraction of tourists to the Sam Mountain National Tourist Area, the Management Board of the Sam Mountain National Tourist Area announced that from 0:00 on May 28 to 23:59 on June 3, there will be no fee collection for tourists to visit and participate in the Via Ba Chua Xu Nui Sam Festival in 2024.
The 2024 Ba Chua Xu Mountain Sam Festival will take place from May 22 to June 3. The ceremony will have four main parts, including: The opening ceremony will take place at Vinh Dong Trade Center, Nui Sam Ward (Chau Doc City) at 7:30 p.m. on May 28; the procession of the statue of Ba Chua Xu Mountain Sam and the street festival will take place at 3:00 p.m. on May 29; the bathing ceremony will take place at 0:00 a.m. on May 30 (April 23 of the lunar calendar).
In particular, for the first time in the opening ceremony program, there will be a modern light show (drone light) with 300 unmanned aircraft.
The show is equipped with LED lights with pre-programmed paths by software to avoid collisions during the show. All 300 drones are automatically controlled by computer.

Previously, on May 22, at the main stage of the Ba Chua Xu Temple in Sam Mountain, more than 450 people and tourists from inside and outside An Giang province gathered to hand-sewing clothes to offer to Ba Chua Xu. This is one of the activities towards the Ba Chua Xu Festival in Sam Mountain in 2024.
