Nearly 2,500 international athletes participate in the Standard Chartered Marathon Heritage Hanoi 2025

(NLDO) - The Standard Chartered Marathon Heritage Hanoi 2025 has seen a sudden increase in the number of international athletes with 2,500 runners from nearly 70 countries and territories.

The opening ceremony of the Standard Chartered Marathon Heritage Hanoi 2025 took place on the morning of November 7 at Quan Ngua Sports Palace (Hanoi).

The 2025 season welcomes a surge in the number of international athletes with 2,500 international athletes from nearly 70 countries and territories, nearly double that of the 2024 season. The impressive growth figures have shown the stature of the Standard Chartered Marathon Heritage Hanoi - the race with the largest number of international athletes in Vietnam, affirming the strong attraction, as well as the opportunity to reach the international level of Vietnam Marathon.

Taking place from November 7 to 9 with the official running day on November 8 for the 5km distance for adults and 2.1km for children; November 9 for the 3 distances of 42km (marathon), 21km (half marathon) and 10km.

A special highlight of the 2025 season is the establishment of the Start - Finish point at Quan Ngua Sports Palace, opening up a nearly 10 km long, completely flat West Lake route. This is considered one of the most beautiful and ideal routes in the capital, giving athletes the opportunity to accelerate and break their personal records.
