The Prime Minister's Administrative Procedure Reform Working Group and the Prime Minister's Administrative Procedure Reform Advisory Council held their 5th meeting.

(Quang Binh Portal) - On the morning of July 31, 2024, the Administrative Procedure Reform Working Group and the Prime Minister 's Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform held the 5th meeting (online) chaired by Mr. Tran Luu Quang, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Working Group.

Attending the conference at Quang Binh bridge were comrade Hoang Xuan Tan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches, sectors and localities.

In recent times, with the strong leadership and direction of the Government , the Prime Minister, the role of the Working Group, the Advisory Council and the high determination of the Ministries, branches and localities, the reform of administrative procedures has achieved many remarkable results. In the first 6 months of the year, the Government and the Prime Minister issued 01 decree, 02 directives, 03 decisions and many directive and administrative documents. Accordingly, 168 business regulations have been reduced and simplified; 108 administrative procedures have been decentralized; 247 administrative procedures and citizen papers have been simplified; 40 internal administrative procedures have been approved by the Prime Minister for simplification and 1,012 internal administrative procedures have been approved for simplification by Ministries, branches and localities according to their authority. The provision of online public services (DVCTT) has improved significantly; The rate of online records and digitization of administrative procedure settlement results at ministries, branches and localities all increased compared to the same period in 2023; more than 4,500 public services were integrated and provided on the National Public Service Portal. To date, the Working Group has basically completed 13/17 tasks, with no overdue tasks. The Advisory Council has completed 10/23 tasks, with no overdue tasks according to the action plan.

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying the results of administrative reform, sharing experiences, analyzing shortcomings and limitations, and proposing solutions to better implement administrative reform in the coming time.

Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved in administrative procedure reform in the first 6 months of the year. In the coming time, he requested ministries, branches, localities, and members of the Administrative Procedure Reform Working Group to continue to promote the role of leaders, be more determined and responsible in performing assigned tasks; at the same time, better coordinate between ministries, branches, and localities, and promote information and propaganda on administrative procedure reform.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministries of Home Affairs, Finance, Industry and Trade, Natural Resources and Environment, Transport, and Health to respond to proposals and recommendations from localities, to be completed before August 15, 2024; requested ministries, branches, and localities to respond to the proposals and recommendations of members of the Prime Minister's Advisory Council on Administrative Procedure Reform, to be completed before August 30, 2024.
