Hung Lo community tourism service cooperative group contributes to preserving and spreading the culture of the Ancestral Land

Hung Lo is not only known as a traditional craft village but also a land rich in historical and cultural values ​​associated with the Hung King era. In particular, this place is the cradle of Xoan singing along with the Hung King worship belief, which has become the "soul" of Hung Lo culture, creating a unique attraction for tourists when coming to the Ancestral Land.

In 2021, Hung Lo was recognized as a community cultural tourism destination, opening up opportunities to exploit and promote traditional values ​​for tourism development. One year later, Hung Lo community tourism products were recognized as 3-star OCOP, becoming an important milestone in the journey of bringing cultural heritage closer to the public. To develop tourism along with cultural preservation, Hung Lo always focuses on restoring and maintaining traditional festivals such as palanquin processions, village festivals, Hung King's death anniversary - Hung Temple Festival. Folk cultural activities, traditional games, craft village cuisine ... are cleverly integrated into tourism programs, bringing authentic and indigenous experiences.

Coming to Hung Lo ancient village, visitors will listen to Xoan singing performed by local people.

To promote the cultural and tourism potential of the locality, the Hung Lo Community Tourism Service Cooperative Group (THT) was established with 15 members, operating professionally in providing tourism services. Thanks to the consensus and cooperation of local households, community tourism here has been gradually organized systematically, improving product quality.

When visitors come to Hung Lo, they will be guided by members of the THT to experience unique activities such as: Enjoying Xoan singing in the ancient village at Hung Lo Communal House, participating in wrapping banh chung, pounding banh giay, learning about traditional craft villages or walking in the colorful flower roads. In 2024, Hung Lo welcomed 10,578 domestic and international visitors, and is expected to welcome about 13,000 visitors by the end of 2025, becoming a trusted address on the experiential tourism map of Phu Tho .

Along with preserving the identity, THT together with the local government pays great attention to developing tourism infrastructure, training human resources, building unique products, promoting trade and promoting the image. All of this aims to make Hung Lo an attractive, sustainable destination and integrate with the trend of modern tourism development.

Not only is it a bridge between cultural heritage and tourists, Hung Lo Community Tourism Service Cooperative also plays a pivotal role in the local socio-economic development. The cooperative has contributed to creating more jobs, increasing income for households, encouraging people to participate in preserving traditional crafts, and at the same time raising awareness of preserving a green - clean - beautiful living environment.
