The festival activities will be combined with the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Festival, scheduled to take place from November 17 to 23 at Dai Doan Ket Square (Pleiku ward).

Taking the image of damage caused by storm No. 13 as the main message, this year's Cultural Heritage Festival aims at the message of environmental protection, protecting upstream forests to adapt to climate change, and at the same time calling on the community to join hands to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, restore the economy and develop sustainably.
The recent storm No. 13 caused great damage to facilities and technical infrastructure in many tourist areas and spots; significantly affecting people's lives and service and tourism activities.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with localities and relevant units to urgently count the damage, guide businesses to restore infrastructure and environmental sanitation, and ensure absolute safety for tourists.
At the same time, the tourism industry needs to promote and restore the image of Gia Lai tourism as safe, friendly and attractive after the storm.
The Provincial People's Committee also requested to adjust, reduce the scale or suspend unnecessary festivals to focus resources, human resources and funding on overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.
For the western region of Gia Lai, the focus can be shifted to organizing the Cultural Heritage Festival, which both ensures cultural significance and is practical and avoids wasting resources.
