In particular, on the night of April 29, Ho Chi Minh City residents will continue to admire the impressive 3D Mapping performance from the Belgian art team.
3D Mapping is a technique of projecting video onto 3D surfaces such as buildings or real objects, creating a vivid visual effect as if the object is moving, transforming or telling a story with light.
The entire facade of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council and People's Committee headquarters became the backdrop for recreating historical images, combined with special lighting effects and music. During the light show, many audiences took the opportunity to record images, record videos and post them on social networks.

The headquarters of the People's Council and People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City was built from 1889 and completed in 1909, designed by French architect Femand Gardès. During the French colonial period, this building was called Hôtel de Ville (meaning City Hall), commonly known as Dinh Xa Tay by the people. During the Republic of Vietnam period, the building was called the Saigon City Hall.
After 1975, this place became the headquarters of the People's Council and People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. By 2020, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recognized this work as a National Architectural and Artistic Relic.
