On May 14, in Hanoi , the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Disabled Youth and TCP Vietnam Company held a press meeting to introduce the program "Shining Vietnamese Willpower" in 2025.
Comrade Nguyen Kim Quy, member of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union, emphasized that the journey of more than 10 years of "Shining Vietnamese Willpower" has encouraged, motivated and inspired young people with disabilities across the country to strive to assert themselves; at the same time, it is a source of inspiration and motivation for other young people with disabilities to firmly step on the path to equality and integration, contributing to the socio -economic development of the country.
This year's program will honor 30 delegates who are young people with disabilities and are under 35 years old (for special cases with older ages, the Selection Council will consider and decide).
The commended individuals received a Certificate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, a program logo and a savings book worth 10 million VND, along with other valuable prizes.
Nominations will be accepted from April 24 to July 1, 2025. The award ceremony is scheduled to be held in August 2025 in Hanoi.
'Young people with disabilities start businesses in the digital age'
Not stopping at honoring, this year, the Organizing Committee expanded the scope of support with the companion program "Youth with disabilities starting a business in the digital age", taking place from April to December 2025.
The program is aimed at young people with disabilities who have start-up projects and wish to receive support in terms of capital, technology, management skills or need to expand their existing production and business models.
At the same time, the program also reserves a separate space for young people with disabilities who have skills in selling and exchanging goods via digital platforms.
Depending on the nature and scale of each project, the Organizing Committee will choose to support in the appropriate form: Cash, production tools, technical advice, communication, output connection for products...
Along with that, free training courses on sales skills and digital business will be organized to improve the capacity of disabled youth, helping them to be more confident in integrating into the community.

Within the framework of the activities of the "Shining Vietnamese Willpower" Program in 2025, there will be a companion program "Colors of Willpower" to spread the message about the honored examples; the "Search for Talents of Disabled Youth" Contest in the fields of art, music , and active interaction activities with the community.
