There are many actors involved in green economic development, of which enterprises are one of the most important. Along with the joint efforts of the business community, female entrepreneurs are an inseparable force in the green growth strategy, contributing to the creation of a sustainable growth ecosystem. Therefore, promoting the inherent value of female business leaders, promoting a community of female entrepreneurs determined to create green products and services with outstanding value and responsibility to the environment is extremely important in the current context. Reality shows that women-owned businesses are an important force in the process of implementing sustainable development goals in Vietnam and I believe that the same is true in Laos and Cambodia."
Speaking at the Forum, Party Central Committee member and President of the Vietnam Women's Union Ha Thi Nga affirmed: "The business community, including women's businesses, is an important force in the process of implementing sustainable development goals, an inseparable part of the country's Green Growth Strategy. Agencies and organizations, especially organizations representing entrepreneurs and female entrepreneurs, including the Vietnam Association of Women Entrepreneurs as a member organization of the Vietnam Women's Union, have also had many activities and initiatives to promote the role of entrepreneurs and female entrepreneurs in the green economy.
At today’s Forum, we continue to affirm the positive role of the Women’s Unions of the three countries and the women entrepreneurs’ communities in the process of developing a green economy at the national, regional and global levels.
