Specifically, on October 22, Mr. Putin will hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi, and head of the BRICS New Development Bank Dilma Rousseff.
On October 23, in Kazan, President Putin held separate talks with his counterparts Recep Tayyip Erdogan (Türkiye) and Masoud Pezeshkian (Iran).
On October 24, the Russian leader will hold a total of seven bilateral meetings, including meetings with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
In addition, according to Kremlin Assistant Ushakov, many countries now want to fully participate in BRICS activities, while some others want to develop deeper, closer cooperation, but all decisions will depend on the leaders of this bloc.
Russian President Putin will also hold a press conference after the BRICS Summit.
Regarding the program of the upcoming BRICS Plus Summit, the leaders of the participating countries will discuss food and energy security issues, as well as the situation in the Middle East, under the theme "BRICS and the Global South. Building a better world together".
According to Mr. Ushakov, the interaction between countries that play a key role in the world in efforts to solve urgent problems of the time, including improving the structure of international relations, ensuring sustainable development, food and energy security will be discussed.
In addition, the Kremlin aide made it clear: "We also decided to pay special attention to the increasingly serious situation in the Middle East."
