It is expected that the standard versions will be equipped with i-ART diesel, code 1GD-FTV, 2.8 liter capacity, 2,755cc. This version has a maximum capacity of 204 horsepower at 3,400 rpm, maximum torque of 500Nm at 1,600 - 2,800 rpm.

The new engine block on the 2026 Toyota Hilux TRAVO pickup truck is combined with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive or 4WD part-time 4-wheel drive.

Higher versions may use the same engine but are tuned to produce a maximum capacity of 224 horsepower at 3,400 rpm, maximum torque of 550Nm at 1,600 - 2,800 rpm, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission and 4WD part-time 4-wheel drive system.

In addition, the Toyota Hilux TRAVO 2026 is also the first generation to have a pure electric version, but the configuration of this version is currently unknown. Let's wait for the new Toyota pickup truck to launch in the Thai market this coming November.
