The exhibition “A Country Full of Joy” displays 200 photos and 12 excerpts and statistics collected from Vietnam News Agency, Nhan Dan Newspaper, City Electronic Information Portal, Hai Phong Press and Communication Center, City Culture, Cinema and Exhibition Center.
The exhibition took place from April 28 to May 4, recreating a panoramic picture of the nation's two great resistance wars: the Dien Bien Phu Victory "famous in five continents, shaking the world" in 1954 and the April 30, 1975 Victory, ending 21 years of resistance war against the US to save the country, bringing the country into an era of peace, independence and unity.
Through vivid images and documents, the exhibition contributes to depicting the passionate patriotism, the indomitable will of the Vietnamese people throughout the history of building and defending the country. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to introduce the outstanding development achievements of the country in general and Hai Phong city in particular after half a century of liberating the South, unifying the country and 40 years of implementing the cause of innovation, industrialization, modernization and international integration.
The exhibition not only recalls the glorious past, but also arouses national pride, strengthens the people's trust, especially the young generation, in the country's development path under the leadership of the Party.
With the spirit of “When drinking water, remember its source”, the exhibition is a bridge connecting history and the present, between glorious tradition and the aspiration to build a prosperous and powerful country.
