Ho Chi Minh City: Reluctantly saying goodbye to the forces participating in the parade

On the morning of May 2, at Terminal T3, Tan Son Nhat Airport, Ho Chi Minh City, leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Military Region 7 Command and Ho Chi Minh City Command, together with representatives of all walks of life in the City, came to see off the forces participating in the parade and marching ceremony in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) back to their units.

On behalf of the City leaders, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee presented flowers and gifts to the officers and soldiers participating in the parade formation in the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; expressing gratitude for the efforts in training and the contributions of the parade forces to the success of the Anniversary.

The farewell ceremony for the forces participating in the Parade in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification took place in a solemn and emotional atmosphere, full of love; showing the precious heart, the fine tradition of the Party Committee, the government and the people of the City named after Uncle Ho - the City of "civilization, modernity, and affection".

It is known that on May 2, the parade forces from the Ministry of National Defense , Army Corps 12, Air Defense - Air Force, Armored Corps, Communications Corps, Special Forces, Military Regions 1, 2, 3, 4, and the Army Ceremonial Group will return to their units on 4 flights from Tan Son Nhat airport.

Previously, on the evening of May 1, at Bien Hoa station (Dong Nai), leaders of the Ministry of National Defense came to encourage and see off more than 1,000 officers and soldiers of several armed forces units who had completed their parade mission and returned to their units in the Central and Northern provinces. On the same day, the Military Command of Binh Duong province also solemnly held a farewell ceremony for the parade of Chinese, Lao and Cambodian military forces that participated in the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

In the ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) held on the morning of April 30 in Ho Chi Minh City, there were 38 parade groups of armed forces participating. Of which, 31 groups were officers and soldiers of the Army and Police forces marching from the North and Central regions to the South to perform the parade duty during the ceremony.
