Pho Yen City: State budget revenue reached 43.4% of the estimate assigned by the province.

In 2025, Pho Yen City was assigned by the province to collect VND 2,265 billion in state budget. By the end of May, the city had achieved VND 983.5 billion, equal to 43.4% of the estimate assigned by the province, 42.2% of the estimate assigned by the City People's Council, and 198% over the same period.

The work of clearing land for new residential and urban area projects has been directed strongly by Pho Yen City, aiming to boost revenue from land use and land lease.

Of which, 10/12 revenue items reached over 50% of the provincial and city People's Council estimates, such as: budget revenue from the non-state sector reached over 117 billion VND, equal to 61.6% of the plan; personal income tax reached over 31 billion VND, equal to 62% of the plan; fees and charges were estimated at over 6.2 billion VND, equal to 56.8%; registration tax revenue reached over 47 billion VND, equal to 56.6%...

In the coming time, Pho Yen City will continue to strengthen budget collection, focusing on auctioning land use rights and collecting land use fees to create development resources. Along with that, revenue management will be tightened further, resolutely combating revenue loss and thoroughly handling tax arrears.
