Ho Chi Minh City announces 10th grade public enrollment targets in 2025

Schools that recruited more than 1,000 students include: Marie Curie High School, Hung Vuong High School, and Mac Dinh Chi High School.

Some other schools enrolling 900 students or more are Gia Dinh High School, Tay Thanh High School, Tran Hung Dao High School, Nguyen Trung Truc High School, Hoang Hoa Tham High School, and Truong Chinh High School.

The four schools with the least enrollment are Olympic Sports Gifted High School, Vietnam - Finland International School, Vietnam - Australia International School, Thanh An Secondary and High School, all with less than 100 students.

This year, Ho Chi Minh City has nearly 89,000 students graduating from junior high school. With more than 70,000 10th grade places, the rate of students passing public schools is 79%, an increase of 14% compared to last year.

The 10th grade entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City takes place on June 6 and 7. Candidates can register up to 8 wishes, including 3 wishes for regular 10th grade, 2 wishes for specialized 10th grade and 3 wishes for integrated 10th grade.

To take the 10th grade entrance exam, candidates are required to take 3 subjects: Literature, Math and Foreign Language. Candidates registering for specialized 10th grade will take an additional specialized subject.
