On the afternoon of May 23, MSc. Hoang Thanh Tu, Deputy Head of the Department of Information and Communications - Ho Chi Minh City University of Science, said that the school has just been allowed to train in the field of Land Economics . This is a training program that is carried out interdisciplinaryly and inter-university. Specifically: The Faculty of Geology of Ho Chi Minh City University of Science and the University of Economics and Law will coordinate training. The program will include knowledge blocks on economics, management, law and earth sciences.

Students majoring in land economics are trained to become experts in the fields of planning, valuation, business and land management – one of the key areas of national sustainable development.
According to the plan, in the first year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Sciences will enroll and train 50 students in the field of land economics. The school will recruit students in 3 ways: Direct recruitment and priority recruitment according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , Ho Chi Minh City National University, combining international language certificates (IELTS/Toefl iBT) with high school study results; recruitment based on the results of the high school graduation exam in 2025 and recruitment based on the results of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's 2025 competency assessment exam.
With the admission plan based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, the school uses the following combinations: A00, A01, A06, A07, B00, B02, C01, C02, C04, D01, D07, D10, X02, X26.
Also this year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Sciences enrolls the first class ofeducational technology with a target of about 70 students.
