The large-scale conference focused on comprehensively assessing the current status of conservation and promotion of cultural heritage values and proposing development tasks and solutions until 2030, with a vision to 2045, associated with urban cultural orientations, cultural industry, digital transformation and international integration.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhat, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the Organizing Committee received more than 40 presentations, many of which were strategic, reflected profound realities, and proposed feasible initiatives in the field of heritage conservation.

A notable highlight is the promotion of digital technology application in conservation work - identified as a key solution. The city is aiming to build a "Digital Heritage Library", develop a digital museum, create interactive exhibition spaces, and innovate the form of heritage access for the public.

In addition, the conference will propose solutions to develop heritage tourism and creative economy associated with urban heritage, promote socialization, attract the participation of communities, businesses and people in the restoration and promotion of tangible and intangible heritage, and create sustainable resources for cultural conservation.
