Ho Chi Minh City organizes exams to recruit nearly 6,400 teachers

The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City has just announced the recruitment of nearly 6,400 teachers at all levels for the 2025-2026 school year.

Of which, public service units under the Department of Education and Training need to recruit 671 teachers and public service units under the People's Committees of wards, communes and special zones need to recruit 5,726 teachers (preschool level needs to recruit 615 teachers, primary school needs 2,040 teachers, secondary school needs 3,071 teachers).

For recruitment, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City will use a 2-round selection process.

Round 1, check the application form's eligibility according to the requirements of the job position to be recruited. If qualified, the applicant will be allowed to participate in round 2.

Round 2, candidates will take a practical test to test their knowledge and professional skills according to the requirements of the job position. The maximum test time is 30 minutes/candidate (including no more than 15 minutes of preparation).

According to the plan, the second round of practical exams will be held from September 22 to September 25; the admission results will be announced from September 25 to September 27.

According to the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, the recruitment must ensure publicity, transparency as well as competitiveness. Those selected must meet the standards of quality, professional expertise and capacity as required.

For units in area 1, send to 66-68 Le Thanh Ton, Saigon ward, HCMC.

For units in area 2, send to 99 Le Hong Phong extended street, area 1, Chanh Hiep ward, HCMC.

For units in area 3, send to Public Administration Center, No. 4 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Ba Ria Ward, HCMC.
